In 1992, Didier founded Europlasma aiming to industrialize the EADS plasma technology in the field of waste processing.

PhD in mechanics (CESTI) and also graduated in Business School Administration (IAE), Didier was chief of plasma torch development at EADS (French Aerospace) in charge of the design, construction and starting of plasma units for Peugeot, SFPO, Uckange, Rhône-Poulenc and EDF.

From 2000, Europlasma goes from success to success for the ashes vitrification’s units first in Japan (equipment of 3 MSW incinerators) and more recently (2007) in Korea. In 2001, Europlasma successfully placed 23.7% of its capital on the Marché Libre (Euronext Paris) raising more than 3M€ in order to invest in a new application of plasma process for asbestos waste destruction.

Europlasma operates the first and only plant worldwide of asbestos vitrification. In order to grant its development, in 2005 Europlasma raised M€25 from private foreign investors and M€11 additional in 2007 coming from a the clean tech funds of Credit Suisse New York to develop the new application of the plasma technology for the production of electricity from waste.

Europlasma intends to become the world reference in the clean technology and clean energy sectors.
