• D2000 Torch 

The D2000 (2 MW) torch was originally developed by AEROSPATIALE (now EADS-LV) under the name AQHEL20. As for the other ranges, torch design and maintenance were highly improved by EUROPLASMA.

    Air
  • Characteristics:
    Short circuit ignition
    Separated field coil
    Mean enthalpy 6-8 MJ/kg
    Recorded lifetime during industrial operation:
    upstream electrode = 1500 h
    downstream electrode = 3000h
  • Applications:
    Ash melting plants (asbestos, ashes, hazardous wastes)

Power ranges 500 Kw to 2 MW
Treats 8000 t/year of asbestos (INERTAM - France)

    Tubular copper electrodes
    Short-circuit ignition
    Separated field coil
    Mean enthalpy 6-8 MJ/kg

    upstream electrode = 800 h
    downstream electrode = 1500h
  • Applications:
    Metallurgy, cupola air blast heating
