Power range : 300 kW to 800 kW – Cold cathode 

Industrial torches with available powers of:
C0400 (400 kW), C0500 (500 kW), C0700 (700 kW) and C0800 (800 kW) 

500 kW (C0500) and 700/800 kW (C0700 and C0800) torches were first developed by AEROSPATIALE (now EADS-LV) under the name AQTIL5 and AQTIL7/8. These torches' design has been greatly improved by EUROPLASMA. In particular, the torch weight was cut in half. Special tools and automatic connections were also developed to simplify torch maintenance.

  Recorded lifetime during industrial operation:
       C500 upstream electrode = 250 h downstream electrode = 1000h

  Ash melting plants (asbestos, ashes, hazardous wastes)
  Gasification
